    There is also free wifi at Starbucks in the Central shopping center across the street, but you need a Singapore cell phone number to make it work.

    There are lots of restaurants close by, a huge shopping center across the street (the Central), and a supermarket in the basement of the Novotel about 15 minutes walk across the river.

    The location on Clarke Quay is a plus with plenty of choice for Restaurants and shopping in the Central Mall nearby and Boat Quay just a short walk.
